There is nothing better than some delicious, wholesome, comforting & warm cinnamon sticky buns to enjoy and feel great about! This recipe will not disappoint. This recipe is courtesy of Paleo Grubs and can be found Here.
Ingredients:
Dough
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil, melted
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 Cups Almond Flour
1 Tbsp Coconut Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
Pinch of Sea Salt
Filling
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Pitted Medjool Dates, chopped
1/4 Cup Walnuts, chopped
Glaze
2 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Coconut Cream
Pinch of Cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Whisk together and combine all dough ingredients.
Set dough on parchment paper and cover with another layer of parchment paper on top. Use a roller to smooth into a long rectangle. Remove top layer.
Drizzle dough with honey and filling mixture, sprinkle with cinnamon.
Use wax paper to roll the dough into a log carefully. Place log into freezer for about 15 minutes.
Slice into individual pieces (about 9-10). Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
While baking, prepare the glaze. Once sticky buns are done baking, drizzle with glaze and enjoy warm!
